Proper Cleaning Technique

Cultured marble’s nonporous surface makes cleaning a breeze, however not every cleaning product can or should be used. Cultured marble and solid surface products do not need any sealing however regular cleaning is required to prevent mold and mildew buildup. Any cleaner with abrasives or grits should NOT be used.

Microfiber cloths and squeegees are best for cleaning cultured marble. The surface can be scratched and sharp objects should be avoid wherever possible.

A quick squeegee of the walls immediately after a shower is recommended to prevent hard water stains and build up.

Gentle cleaners will ensure a clean surface without causing damage. Gel Gloss can also be used if you wish to wax your cultured marble to polish it.

DO NOT USE

  • Abrasive Cleaners
  • Ajax
  • Comet Powder
  • Bar Keepers Friend

Hard cleaners and acidic products can cause irreversible damage. If used, do not let acids sit on surface and wipe products off immediately after application.
